      After you complete new student orientation and register for classes, you can enroll in the Student Introduction to Moodle 2025-2026 course! This course will teach you how to navigate Moodle and submit assignments. Visit your My courses page and sort by All courses. Courses open on the first scheduled day of class.

If you are stuck, try reviewing quick tutorials such as Getting Started with Moodle. Keep in mind that tablets/mobile devices (including Chromebooks/iPads) may not be able to access all the tools needed for your courses.

Register to attend IT and Education Career Panels!

IT Career Panel - Save the Date October 29th!

Online Student Experience is hosting an IT Career Panel for our currently enrolled Davidson-Davie students. Students will have the chance to hear from industry experts, network with potential employers and ask any questions they have. This virtual event will be held via Zoom on Wednesday, October 29th from 6pm to 7:30pm. 

Panelists include the following:
    • Experts in Networking and Cyber Security 
    • Experts in Cloud and Artificial Intelligence Technology 
    • Owner of a Digital Media Company
You must pre-register to receive the zoom link needed for joining this virtual event. You do not have to be a student within this program of study to take advantage of this opportunity. This is open to everyone. Those who pre-register and attend will have their names entered into a drawing to win a $20 Visa gift card. We hope to see you there!
 
 

Early Childhood and Education Career Panel - Mark your calendars for November 5th!

Online Student Experience is hosting a Career Panel event for students who are interested in working in the fields of early childhood education and/or the teaching fields. This is going to be a great opportunity to find out what types of jobs you can obtain with your associate degree and which ones you can work towards by obtaining a bachelor degree. 
    • Who will be there? Panelists include a human resource rep from Davidson County Schools, the director of Smart Start of Davidson County, owner of a local child development center, a Child Life Specialist from WakeMed, and a Child Care Consultant with the NC Dept of Health & Human Services. 
    • When: Wednesday, November 5th from 6pm to 7:30pm 
    • How: You must Pre-Register to receive the Zoom link needed for joining this virtual event.

Moodle - Issues Resolved

Around 4pm through late evening yesterday (10/20/2025), issues with Amazon AWS began to resolve. Moodle should be loading well for users again.

Since early today (10/10/2025) many users are having issues with Open LMS / Moodle loading. Issues with Amazon AWS service continue. We will send an update when there is any change.
